Receive specialty treatments and exercises that will provide help you need. JS Physical Therapy has ways to get you out of pain and keep you better for longer.
With your treatment session you can expect a one on one setting having full hands-on focus directed towards you. Skip the busy clinics where you typically are given minimal attention, told to do exercises that don't fix the issue, and where you hardly get treated by the therapist who is running back and forth between other people as their aide works with you.
At JS Physical Therapy, Dr. Simmons (PT) will get you feeling better, stronger, and stable in faster time than spending several weeks in daily appointments elsewhere. JS Physical Therapy is dedicated to helping you find answers to get your body back to moving properly, and offers valuable skills and expertise to ensure that your experience is successful.
JS Physical Therapy provides evaluation and treatment for musculoskeletal pain and injuries by a CA licensed physical therapist to individuals seeking direct access care. This allows for timely interaction between the provider and those seeking treatment without having to first receive a referral.
There are many types of commonly occurring bodily pains that people deal with and are unaware they can quickly be seen and cared for to provide pain relief, assist injury healing, and learn how to manage maintaining function.
Dr. Jesse James Simmons operates independently with his clients in home-based, fitness, and recreational settings. Session time is focused on teaching therapeutic exercise activities, providing manual therapy, and discussing home/work education for resolving bodily pains, progressing towards rehabilitation goals, and returning to functional activities.
Hands-on therapy is the use of treatments directed by the therapist through the use of their own body and tools. In medical or technical terms this is known as manual therapy. In common terms this includes techniques related to myofascia release, massage, joint mobilizations, muscle stretching, cranial-sacral therapy, cupping, traction, and much more.
Dr. Simmons uses primarily hands-on treatments to quickly resolve bodily issues for others. From doctoral education, independent training, and 20 plus years of clinical practice he has mastered use of manual techniques that are specific to body parts he works on. He then uses exercises and activities to support treatments. His approach is not considered same as what is typically described by those attending conventional physical therapy appointments to be given what is mostly an exercise session with minimal to no hands-on care.
Additionally, Dr. Simmons is author of textbook and videos intended for teaching other physical therapists how to use specialized treatments with use of IASTM/Gua Sha hand tools, known as scraping therapy. He invites all to learn about this highly useful method through social media links.
